Training Day 31

It's Valentine's Day! Woooo. Today was also field day, some sort of nonsense 'class' with my fireteam leader where he read off a sheet to us, and a random false fire alarm. Nearly ruined my evening but I ducked out during the evacuation.

Language: I managed to survive another day of class but the afternoon sucked. I think it's because our resident civilian brought in sugar cookies. With frosting. With sprinkles. Yeaaaah... Everyone was crashing. I just crash harder than most. Still, I persevered. Today's homework sucked. First we had some transcription assigned but the teachers realized it was last week's assignment so they made today a free study day. Then my class leader decided to assign the class six homework book exercises and three sentences for each of the three grammar patterns. On top of that, my section had an extra two paragraphs to write. I knocked it out rather quickly, to be honest, and was done in two hours. Another sign that my language skills are improving.

Personal: I can't wait for the weekend... There is just too much going on right now. I have a long weekend coming up and my roommate is leaving for a week. It sounds like a good opportunity to sort some stuff out.
