Training Day 33

Wow. So... Friday sucked a whole lot. It wasn't a class day but the military training day was the worst organized mess I've ever seen. Doors were locked to rooms we were supposed to be testing in. We had all of two buses for the entire detachment. Something came up so we wound up sitting around at the end for two hours, which really screwed with my plans for the day. What more, I felt shaky all day and was sucking air during the PFT. I even fell asleep repeatedly during the little skills test.

Marathon: As part of the PFT I ran 3 miles in 23:28. That is horrific. My entire PFT dropped... fortunately, this one wasn't for score. It doesn't help that I was fatigued and dehydrated but, still, that's horrible. Tomorrow I get to run 10mi so I am hydrating today. It's time to pick myself up off the floor, buckle down, and do something to be proud of.

Personal: I am horribly confused right now. I can't tell what is right and wrong or strong and weak but I have people relying on me. This weekend I'm hoping to orient myself and move forward. There's too much at stake to do otherwise. At least I didn't suck too badly at land nav...
