Language: No homework today except to study. Of course, I went and studied the wrong vocabulary. Whoops. Anyways... Today I tried something new. I let Dragonforce blare out of my speakers while studying my vocabulary words since I don't have audio for these units anyways. While I was periodically interrupted by a desire to sing along, it seemed to energize me during my studies. It was a lot more fun than it normally was. Class was class.
Medical: I saw my sleep specialist today. My OSA seems to be under control and my daytime sleepiness has dropped considerably. Now I just need to get my hypoglycemia under control... One of my sergeants (of all people) showed me a few tricks to get my mask to stop molesting my face while I sleep at night so, hopefully, I'll stop having red marks when I wake up. I also brought up the possibility of having my tonsils removed as they (along with my over-sized tongue or too-small jaw - take your pick) are the reason I have OSA in the first place. I also hate the sensation of choking... Or actually choking. That was fun.
Automotive: So... I found out why my car was complaining. Flat tire. Weird thing is that the tire shows no signs of damage but still won't inflate. If anything, it looks like it's popped off the rim a little bit. I blame the poorly-filled in ditch outside the Air Force barracks. Anyways, I manage to slap the spare back on the exact same wheel and will be taking my car back to the autoport ASAP. Fortunately, everything is under warranty.
It's a good thing Murphy is already dead or he and I would have 'words' about that infernal law of his.
Gaming: Apparently, the war between heaven and hell will be resolved with rocket launchers. Sweet. Painting the walls between bouts of vocab pounding makes the whole process much more enjoyable.
Personal: Turns out that the awesome dinner that my dad invited me to takes place on Saturday. I have guard duty on Saturday. That also means that I need to hit the rack at a decent hour on Friday and that I'll be sleeping through part of Sunday.
By the way... 11
