Language: Ugh... Bad day today. Interrupted by medical and I was really dragging this afternoon. I barely managed to get all my homework done in time too. We have a new teacher in my class too and her teaching style is taking some getting used to... It's not bad. Just different. However, once again, my classmates are complaining. I think she'll be a good teacher if we just try.
Apartment: Today at 1700 was the deadlined for applications for the apartment. Here goes!
Medical: I had one of my appointments today... It ended with a referral to an podiatrist to look at my feet, a referral to an ENT doctor to have my tonsils checked out, and a request to return on Monday for an IT band. The IT band is to help control my Ilio Tibial Band Syndrome... it's the same injury that took me out in boot camp. I found out later that it's linked to hypoglycemia and, lo' and behold, when I started up morning PT again, my injury started creeping back in. I'm hoping that once I get the hypoglycemia under control that I can tune my body so well that the ITBS goes away. I'm also helping my running club will have some pointers.
Marathon: Speaking of the running club, they returned my e-mails today. I'm going to call them tomorrow for more details but I'm excited about this.
Automotive: The autoport finally called me about a replacement tire for my car... Of course I'm too poor right now for it. I need to watch my money until I get this apartment thing squared away and can feed myself. Yay.... A note to my family: I'm eating three solid meals a day. Don't worry. I still have a buffer for that.
Personal: So, last night's big mess? The Momrine was using the Hooah as an excuse to flip out so I talked to the Hooah about it. We sneaked into the library right before closing (they started ringing a gong at us until we left) then went out for pizza and ice cream and just chatted... Hashed it all out. It was remarkably simple, actually. "Hey, what happened? Oh, crud. Well... Oh, you know already? Okay. Cool. So, how are you?" I really appreciate having one good friend through all this. Now if I could just figure out how I managed to pull that off...
But. Seriously! Behold the amazing powers of personal communication!
